Effective date: 25 October 2026
This policy applies to the iOS app "Nitro: AI Car & Video" ("the app"), developed by Adrian Smark, Australia.
When you create a video, the photo you pick is sent over an encrypted connection to our server at https://nitro-g4b4.onrender.com and to xAI (Grok) to generate your 10-second video. The finished video is held on the server for about 60 minutes so the app can download it, then it is deleted from the server; finished reels are saved on your device. Design concepts and garage builds are stored only on your device.
The app sends your device identifier to our server to enforce daily video limits, enforce the 24-hour limit before a subscription is required, and verify subscriptions. Separately, the app shares a device identifier with TikTok as described below.
The app uses the TikTok Events SDK to measure the performance of our advertising on TikTok. Under Apple's definition, the app tracks you: if you allow tracking, it shares the following data with TikTok for third-party advertising and analytics:
TikTok uses this data to attribute app installs and purchases to ads, measure ad performance, and help show ads to people who may be interested in the app. TikTok's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy: https://www.tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy.
The first time you open the app, iOS shows Apple's "Allow tracking?" prompt once. If you tap "Ask App Not to Track", the app does not send events to TikTok. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, by turning off tracking for Nitro (or turning off "Allow Apps to Request to Track").
There are no user accounts and we do not sell personal data.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
